The WCT/ WDT cooling
tower controllers represent the latest in
technological and innovative advancements from
Walchem. All of the standard features you’d
expect from a conventional cooling tower controller
are included, plus optional simple-to-use information
management tools that enable water treatment
professionals to deliver a more effective service to
their customers. The WCT/ WDT controllers have the
ability to store, (optional upgrade) sensor/
temperature values, water usage, relay and flow switch
status and user settings. A USB memory stick is all
that’s needed to extract the information.
Download logs from the USB stick to a PC at your
convenience, or copy your preferred treatment program
settings to another controller to speed start-up. It
couldn’t be easier!

WCT400/ 410 feed & bleed cooling tower controller
The WCT series cooling tower controllers control via conductivity measurement of high solids levels and adding low conductivity make-up water. Simultaneous control of chemical feed inhibits corrosion, solid precipitation and scale build up. Four chemical feed options are available
• feed & bleed, with or without feed lookout timer • feed after bleed has finished, as a percentage of time • feed as a
• percentage of time elapsed • feed as a percentage of make-up water
• built in optional data logger via USB flash stick for: event/ relay, reset logs and user configuration file import/ export
• plug and play USB technology
• choice of in-line or submersion sensor mounting

• water meter contact divider accumulates up to 100 pulses

The WCT410 Series offers all of the WCT400 features as well as:

WDT400/ 410 feed & bleed cooling tower controller, with dual sensor control
The WDT series controllers feature dual input channels for use in control of cooling towers using two conductivity sensors (WDT400), or one conductivity and one ORP (or pH) sensor (WDT410). The WDT400 controller has the ability to control two cooling towers from the one unit.
In addition to the WCT400 specification the WDT400 offers:
• dual input channels for conductivity control of two towers
• output relays activate system bleed and chemical feed for each input channel
• choice of in-line or submersion sensor mounting
• independent flow switch and flow meter inputs are supported for each channel
• optional single, or dual fully powered/ isolated 4-20mA outputs
In addition to the WCT400 specification the WDT410 offers:
• dual input channels offers conductivity control of one tower, ORP/ pH control, (e.g. primary measured biocide) + two timed biocide adds
• in-line amplified & grounded ORP/ pH anti-foul flat surface electrodes with power supplied from controller
