EW series metering pumps

Conventional electromagnetic metering pumps suffer from low resistance to exposure of external liquids. With improved sealing of not only the control unit but also the pump unit, a remarkable improvement to this exposure has been achieved in the Iwaki EW series. With its tough construction and high tolerance to external liquids, the EW series can be widely used in applications ranging from incorporation into various devices, to utilisation as standard equipment in water treatment facilities.

Standard control features
on-off
pulse signal, (e.g. can be controlled by water meter, connector 1- 5 pin required)
digital input (e.g. stop switch, connector 2- 4 pin required)

Summary of features and benefits
VC version with Alumina ceramic valve balls
VH version with Hastelloy C276 valve balls, (for caustic)
large capacity up to 24 l/ hr
weatherproof
compact size, quiet and lightweight
self primes in seconds
optional auto air vent (AAV) to help prevent outgassing, e.g. bleach, available for pumps with 4 x 6 mm tubing.
double level stop function
manual vent valve (helps priming)
high speed operation, up to 180 strokes per minute results in high resolution chemical feed and elimination of slug-feed effects
display and electronic adjustment of stroke rate
manual adjustment of stroke length for finer control
double level stop function
superior valve construction, with double ball check valves. Ball, seat & guide assembly ensures a tight seal to prevent loss of prime
supplied with tubing, check valve and foot valve
long lasting diaphragm. PTFE laminate over EPDM is moulded onto a solid core. Retainer plate minimises flow rate changes as pressure varies
